original and traditional world music infusions

CAROLINA MOON aka CAROLINE LYNN's evocative multi-lingual song begins in the heartland of medieval, Sephardic Spain ....... follows the footsteps of the ancient pilgrim through songs of the Llibre Vermell ...... the glorious Cantigas de Santa Maria ....... songs of the Mediterranean basin ..... to the Celtic lands.

These sensual melodies still echo with a vibrant spirit of tradition and are sung in a range of languages both ancient and modern, flavoured with exotic meters and grooves and contemporary soundscapes.

Carolina Moon and her ensemble perform music infused with the sounds and textures of their personal journeys through rivers of inspired Indian time, flamenco Spain, Europe, The Americas, Australia, Aotearoa, and the folklore and legends of England.

With appearances in the UK, Australia, Aotearoa, India, Shanghai and the Pacific Islands, Carolina Moon's new Auckland-based ensemble assembles the cream of NZ's boundary stretching, virtuosic improvising artists.
