'Mother Tongue' is a dreaming of songs from the heartlands of Sephardic Spain - songs borne by mothers, lovers, sisters and daughters of the Diaspora through generations of tradition.
Sung in their mother tongue, Ladino, they share with us deep expressions and common experiences of life - rites of passage, love, spirituality and stories… and connect us both to the spirit of this people and to our own humanity.
This profoundly beautiful collection also features medieval Spanish and original compositions.
